We are a Microsoft CSP and Anthropic Commercial Partner. All licenses — Microsoft 365 and Claude API usage — are held legitimately in your name, with complete audit trail. No shared accounts, no credential sharing, and no use of your login credentials.

So if a regulator, an insurer, or a major client ever asks you how your AI solution is deployed and managed, you have a clear, documented, and defensible answer.

What is Avelle?

Can I use Avelle outside Quebec?

Yes. Avelle is available to SMB owners across North America — not just Quebec. We handle compliance per jurisdiction (Loi 25 in Quebec, PIPEDA across Canada, GDPR and CCPA where they apply), and Avelle’s on-premise model means your data physically stays in your jurisdiction, wherever you are.

How is Avelle different from Microsoft Copilot or other AI tools?

Copilot and similar tools are software you have to learn, configure, and operate yourself. Avelle is a managed service — there’s nothing to evaluate or run. We build it, deploy it on hardware in your premises, and run it for you, so your data never leaves your walls. You don’t get another app to log into; you get the work done.

Do we need a technical person on our side?

No. You never touch our infrastructure. You never log in to anything. You never use any app. You receive the delivered work in your usual tools — email and shared folders. The technology is never your problem. That’s exactly the point.

Are your prices in CAD? And what about taxes?

Our prices are available in Canadian dollars (CAD) and US dollars (USD) — use the currency selector on the Pricing page. Canadian customers are billed in CAD, US customers in USD. Depending on your province or state of residence in North America, applicable taxes (GST, QST, HST, or local sales taxes) will be billed in addition to your subscription and onboarding fees.

Are you Loi 25 and Bill 96 compliant?

Yes. We are aligned with Loi 25 (Quebec’s privacy law): a Privacy Officer is designated, we provide a written DPA with every contract, and we maintain a 72-hour breach notification runbook. For Bill 96 (French language predominance), our website, contracts, and invoices are bilingual with French primary, and our bilingual Knowledge Base layer makes sure your client-facing communications are available in French.

What if our Wi-Fi goes down or there's a power cut?

Avelle reconnects automatically when power and network return. The Skills are resilient to brief outages — an interruption means a delayed output, not a lost one. For mission-critical workflows we can specify a hardware UPS backup as part of onboarding.

What does Avelle have access to?

Only what you explicitly grant. Tier 1 Skills run on public data and the inputs you choose to share. Tier 2 Skills run on shared folders or recurring file drops first — and only graduate to live system integration in Phase 2, typically around month 3, once you have seen the outputs and are comfortable. You decide the trust ladder.

Is our data sent to OpenAI or Anthropic?

We use Anthropic’s commercial Claude API under enterprise terms — your data is not used for model training. Any operational data Avelle works with lives on your dedicated Avelle hardware in your premises; only the working context for each request transits the API call. Your files do not pool with any other customer’s.

What happens if we cancel?

You must give 60 days notice at the end of your engagement. The Avelle hardware must be returned. We then export all your data (reports, drafts, lead lists, and knowledge base) in a structured format (JSON + PDF). Early termination before the end of the 24-month minimum period incurs a charge of 50% of the remaining amounts, in addition to hardware return.

How fast is the first Skill live?

It depends on tier. Starter (one Skill) goes live in about 5 days from contract signature. Growth (four Skills + full Knowledge Base) takes about 10 days. Enterprise (seven Skills, bilingual KB, Phase 2 integrations) takes about 21 days because it includes API integrations with your existing systems. Across all tiers the customer-side effort is the same: plug Avelle in and connect it to your network.

What is the commitment, and what discounts apply?

The minimum commitment is 24 months across all tiers. A 36-month commitment earns 10% off the monthly fee. Annual prepayment earns an additional 5% (both discounts stack). Prices may be adjusted annually, capped at CPI + 2%, with 90 days written notice.

Are we eligible for Quebec digital transformation grants?

Often yes. Several active programs — Investissement Québec digital transformation envelopes, PME en Action, IRAP, and CDAP where still available — can subsidise 25–40% of qualifying digital investments. Eligibility is case-by-case; we can walk you through it during the discovery call and point you to a grant specialist if needed.

Can you handle our most sensitive workflows — payroll, contracts, financials?

Eventually, yes — these sit in our Tier 3 portfolio. But we don’t lead with them. We onboard you on Tier 1 services that touch no confidential data, prove the system, then expand into operational workflows, and only after six months of successful operation do we open the conversation around the deepest workflows. That sequence exists for your protection, not ours.
